Turks & Caicos Activities
Scuba Diving
Diving in the Turks and Caicos is a superb experience due to the combination of the crystal clear waters, excellent visibility (200ft), coral reef and abundance of marine life and is considered by many as one of the top ten Scuba diving destinations in the world; it is a “must dive” destination.

The Turks and Caicos Islands are surrounded by an extensive coral reef system (65 miles across and 200 miles long). Where the shallow turquoise waters of the Caicos Bank meet the outer coral reefs, the terrain drops from a depth of 45ft to 6000ft. This wall drop off is drastic and is where corals thrive and fish life flourishes.

Excellent diving can be found around most of the TCI and popular dive sites include:

• Providenciales Princess Alexandra National park
• Providenciales Northwest Point
• West Caicos
• French Cay
• Pine Cay
• North Caicos
• Middle Caicos
• Grand Turk
• Salt Cay

Concierge can pre-arrange dive excursions and packages with one of the many fully qualified PADI dive masters on island who will ensure a day of underwater wonderment from the moment you step aboard their boats.
Green turtles, angelfish and parrotfish are just a few of the stunning creatures that await snorkelers only a few feet from the shore.

The “White House” located in the Princess Alexander National Park is a short five minute drive from the property, where snorkelers can easily spot an variety of marine life and array of coloured corals, starfish, sponges and amazing sea shells through the crystal clear waters.

The Turks & Caicos Islands offer great opportunities to fish:

Whale Watching
From late December through to April, the entire Atlantic heard of 2500 North Atlantic Humpback whales pass through the 22 mile wide channel the Columbus passage which separate the Turks from the Caicos Islands. Visitors to the Turks can watch these amazing creatures as they migrate from as far away as Iceland to breed and nurse their young in the Silver Banks off the Dominican Republic. This 8000ft deep passage also serves as major transit route for spotted eagle rays, manta rays, dolphins and turtles. During this period divers can listen to an underwater concert of the whales' songs.
Windsurfing/Waterskiing and Parasailing
There are lots of companies offering water sports in Providenciales. Concierge has brochures, flyers and numbers at their fingertips.
Sailing, Boat Trips & Sunset Cruises
Providenciales offers a wide variety of boat trips for you to experience, from private sailing excursions to a deserted island to a fun-filled sunset cruise. Hobycats and windsurfing equipment is found on Grace Bay beach. Concierge can help you arrange your own perfect experience.
Nature Tours
Kayak through the Mangroves or explore Little Water Cay to see Rock Iguanas in their natural habitat. Take a picnic to the Caves of Middle Caicos, or visit the historical plantations of Grand Turk and Salt Cay.

The Turks and Caicos is home to over 300 species of birds and flora and fauna, ecologically essential wetlands and protected marine replenishment areas as well as breeding grounds for turtles, seabirds and other creatures and in1992 the government set aside 33 specific protected areas, a list that include nature reserves, sanctuaries and historical sites totaling more than 325 square miles.

The National Parks were designed to protect the scenic environment and habitats, to preserve and conserve them for future generations as well as make them available for public recreation.
